Intensive Course & Lesson Package Refund Policy
Our intensive driving courses and lesson packages are structured as complete tuition packages rather than individual pay-as-you-go lessons. When you book a package, instructor time and availability may be reserved specifically for you, and the package price is based on your commitment to the full course.
1. Package Bookings
By booking an intensive course or lesson package, you are booking the package as a whole. The package price is not calculated on the basis that individual hours can be purchased, cancelled or refunded separately after the booking has been confirmed.
Once your course has commenced, unused hours within the package are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where you have a statutory right to a refund or where we are unable to provide the services included within your booking.
2. Discounted Package Pricing
Package prices are offered on the basis that the customer commits to the complete package.
If, in exceptional circumstances, we agree to provide a refund for unused hours from a package, we reserve the right to recalculate the lessons already provided at our prevailing standard individual lesson rate rather than the discounted package rate. Any refund would then be based on the remaining balance after this adjustment.
This reflects the fact that discounted package pricing is dependent on the purchase of the complete package.
3. Intensive Course Bookings
Intensive courses require us to reserve significant instructor availability in advance. Once an intensive course has commenced, payments relating to the course are therefore non-refundable for unused tuition, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
If you cancel or substantially change an intensive course before it begins, any refund or cancellation charge will be considered in accordance with the circumstances of the cancellation and applicable consumer law.
4. Cancellation of Individual Lessons
For individual lessons or lessons scheduled separately from an intensive package, at least 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full because the instructor's time has been specifically reserved for you.
5. Driving Test Availability
Our Pass in 7 Days and intensive packages are subject to practical driving test availability.
We strongly recommend booking well in advance to maximise the likelihood of securing a suitable test date.
We cannot guarantee that the DVSA will provide a test appointment within a particular timeframe, and the purchase of an intensive package does not constitute a guarantee that you will pass your practical driving test within seven days.
Your instructor may also advise that additional tuition is required if they do not consider you to be at the required test standard. This is a safety decision and does not entitle the learner to a refund of unused package hours.
6. Instructor Availability
If we are unable to provide the tuition included within your booking due to instructor unavailability, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative instructor or rearrange the affected lessons.
Where we are unable to provide the services that you have paid for and no suitable alternative can be provided, you will be entitled to any refund required by applicable consumer law.
7. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Where a booking is made online, by telephone or otherwise as a distance contract, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation period under UK consumer law. Where you have specifically requested that lessons or tuition begin during that period, you may be required to pay for services provided up to the point of cancellation, where permitted by law.
Any cancellation or refund will therefore be handled in accordance with applicable UK consumer legislation.
8. Agreement to These Terms
By booking an intensive course, lesson package or individual driving lesson, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and agree to them.
These terms should be read alongside any specific terms displayed during the booking process and any information provided to you before your booking is confirmed.
